if your interested....
Here are the lyrics in case you're interested

Easy To Hide

She’s sitting so quietly….questioning her sanity…..
why doesn’t she believe…in herself
Cause everything makes her think…she’s wavering on the brink…
wondering why this thing…runs so deep

But there is no solace in the pain; no there is no solace in the pain

I know it’s hard when you feel this way, no it doesn’t stop. Doesn’t stop.
You think no one knows, or understands your pain
Because it’s all inside, where it’s so easy to hide

She’s picking and choosing….the battles worth losing…
not wanting to win…or achieve
Cause if she’s seen making…a promise she’s breaking…
it all will come crashing in that unwanted relief

But there is no comfort in the pain; no there is no comfort in the pain

I know it’s hard when you feel this way, no it doesn’t stop. Doesn’t stop.
You think no one knows, or understands your pain
Because it’s all inside, where it’s so easy to hide

She thinks that the hurt makes her different
Giving her something to hold
She thinks that she’s got nothing special
To separate her from the crowd

I know it’s hard when you feel this way, no it doesn’t stop. Doesn’t stop.
You think no one knows, or understands your pain
Because it’s all inside, where it’s so easy to hide

was just listening to the song that's when you put in the lyrics.......sure am interested in "that".thanks. well i like do like the song a lot. the record quality is good. the vocals are good on it. only wish the drum rolls were a little different when the music goes silent.......maybe a little more fast with lot of, sort of almost simultaneous hits on the snare and toms, if you get what i mean along with lot of cymbal crashes. the song is great.

the guitar work in this song is great.
the song construction is very good.
how did you make the choir?
quality of recording is perfect. but I would like to hear some more verb in the voice.
And I vote high for this

Thanks guys!

Rych...the strings are synth (though I would love to have my own orchestra - they could live in my basement!)

Triton..the choir is synth (though I would love to have a real choir - they could live in my basement with the orchestra!)

and I hear what you say about the vox...the ones that you hear on this track are totally dry and without any effects.  But I'll probably add some

Great song.

Loved the abrupt guitar cut-outs (..."doesn't stop"...) as well as the overall guitar tone.

I liked the synth orchestra/choir.  Reminded me of the Eels a bit.  I would have mixed it a bit quieter, though.

Overall, though, I thought this was a very musically-artistic song that was still very easy to listen to.  That's a goal that I know I always strive for and seldom reach.  But youdoneit. Thanks for posting!

hmm...
It is a bit more on the dark side....  but it stll rings with spoonism(You can use that if you like!)...

I agree with the Joplin/Crowe vibe...  The style of the song lends to that....

               Great recording....

very great song - should be played at about 3/4 on the final set of a gig, alongside some other slower tunes, just before re-energizing into the light again.

mixing is a bit off - the synth is too much to the front, but works for the soundscape it creates.

this is going to my playlist (and to my harddrive ) and .. well... yeah... rating it accordingly

Can I live in your basement with the choir and the orchestra? LOL

And then I definitely like this song, I voted soo HIGH!!!

and goes directly to my playlist

Congratulations spoony, I'm your fan too, you have a pretty good voice..
