I love that warm vintage sound, that laidback playing, makes me feel good. great vocal production - great clarity, no effects needed. super sway soloing - lovely drum mix, - I like everything about it. can groove to this any time of day - one sure download!

What a simply great song.

I kept on skipping to this one.

So true as well, should have all happened yesterday.

Thanks guys...yes Flyer, I wrote this...

I was wondering...do you think if I added a saxophone to this it would be too much?

hi
Very good Writing..To a good song here..well organized...Saxaphone wouldnt be overdoing it I dont think..Just pick the right spots for it....for some reason the vocals sound more alive today  then when I heard it the other day...It has to be me

Hehe the beginning was funny. Then it turned really serious. awesome guitar playing. cool drums, nice and smooth sounds you have there.

And your voice ! Incredible. i wish Danish Girls would sound like that

Now thats some nice jazz goin' down.I like this better than any of the smooth jazz CDs I have. Yeah, I also think some sax soloing would be great.

Love the feeling Spoony - a happy song!

I hear a minor issue with timing right at the start where it sounds a little messy, but this soon gets sorted out once you get going.

Good vocal delivery backed up with some nice playing and a decent mix.
I think a sax would be too much for this, seeing as how you asked, as the blending of instruments is right for the mood of the piece.  The only thing I'd add would be a vocal harmony in the chorus.

Good stuff

I'm too late
I'm too late to give you any original praise, but you deserve it all. This is a great song. A bit of sax might brighten it up in certain places, which addresses my single criticism. But as I was listening to it, the way I thought it could be effectively brightened is to increase the high end of the vocal melody on the three two-line verses, i.e.:

"Don’t be afraid, don’t miss your chance to step out centre on the floor
Cause when you’re walking you ain’t walking ‘til you’re walking out the door"

I think hitting a couple of vocal highes, just stretching the melody a bit on these lines, would really liven and brighten the song, and make the rest of your fine vocals even more effective.

If you could hear me sing, you would completely disregard any vocal advice I might give. Keep up the great work.
