This song is not in a battle

Fruity and Loopy

Done many moons ago in Fruity Loops

It's quite a full on piece

There's a groan in there that was originally a walrus from an Encyclopedia CD Rom

There's some girlie getting banged by a guy with a beard in there

And the "Ooo can I touch it?" which came with Fruity Loops is in there

Let me tell you a story;
I was looking through the wave files on a 'Creatures' game CD, you might know them, little creatures that have lives of they're own on your PC.
Well there were bangs and zoops and gurgling monster sounds, so I took a gurgling monster sound into Fruity, for fun I took it down the scale, when all of a sudden I though I recognised some form of Russian. I reversed the sample and played a bit more with the key, and would you believe it, I'd found "and now for something.." , I picked up the other sample (they are actually named say1.wav and say2.wav if you have the CD Rom) and indeed it was "completely different"

The buggers had nicked the sample from Monty Python for their monster and I'd found it!

I love it when a plan comes together.

And so they all did in this creation

If you like it let me know, if you don't, go and tell the neighbors

My neighbors are out....
So I'm gonna tell you what I don't like hahahahaha.

No, seriously tho.  I'm becoming a fan of your sampling style and the simplicity of this bass lines, but why are you so afraid of a coherent structure??

Really, this could be great if it would get anywhere

Cheers.

Cheers aetheris

These are made 3/4/5 years ago.
I understand what you mean, most of my pieces are like that,
I start with loop and play with it, at the time I'd be going from one bar to the next changing as I went.
Actual text book song writing is something I still have to get into.

Some one commented on one of my other songs (I think it was PX), saying that he expected it to 'start' the whole time. I know what he means and its something that's bugged me for a while, it comes partly from starting with a loop and following the song (as compared to composing first), and with the fact that because I'm not a drummer my beats are either on and on and on or coming to stops and starting again.

Its all experimental in that sense

the samples. are crazy..  ahhhhhhhhhh  ummmmmmmmmmm  wow.  different.....  wow......  ummmmmmmm
Have you ever been to a after party rave style back room  or even a strip club. You probably have. this reminds me of that.  something is happening.  what is it.? I know! Ya you could definately use it for main theme track for all episodes. !!!  Its very underground.  Europe loves this music. Americans cling to POP / RAP AND COMMERCIAL SUPERSTARS. Great ideA!

Love it! So someone has found the key!

Thank you all for listening, and an even bigger thanks for commenting, it's always good to know what you think.
I've a few more mad sample tracks , Gafal yn yr Afal you may know, I'm an Ifal is as hard but not as hectic, and Da Alien I posted a few days ago, but is still a secret!
I only have one more song as hectic as this one and that's 'TriAmDrio' which is not posted at bandAmp, but if you really want to know it can be found on this page

Thanks for comments, but Peter Cook?? Pb!! Was it Peter Cook who did the Monty Python scene? But now that I listen to it you just might be right!   I always thought it was one of the Python team, but no I do think it could be Peter Cook! Cheers Punchbear

Nothing wrong
Nothings wrong, just seems messy with no melodic importance. Needs structure, development, etc. Right now its just a bunch of samples.

Is it!
Cheers!
In my defence : 'just a bunch of samples' structured into something you might not call a song but I'd call a piece.
I don't play guitar like you but we all have the right to Noodle!

This is mid set stuff right here.  This is a kind of calm before the storm track in a dance set.  Drop the drums into a more pushed forward feel.  keep the chicks vocals and drop a bit more of a coherent bass line and its on like donkey kong!  This would have me jamming!  This is the spit, Kings!

the MAP
Hey MAP! (MAP!lol!) Good to see ya!
Yea it's a wonder what the wanderings of a Noodle can do!
There's a 'string' that kicks in at the end, it's actually still one of my favorite sounds in a song but it came out way too short and way too low in the mix and then I went and lost the samples and settings, I have gone looking for it but it wasn't the same!
Just felt like sharing this little story!

I've just seen that this is my most 'visited' song!!!!! Why because it's called (Pure Porn)?????
You SAD people!
