I personally prefer the other version, mainly due to the falsetto sounded a little too high for your comfort. But, Loved the playing and the song.

Hey, I know your stuff from the Deep Elm label. I've seen the video for this. There is some aesthetic virtue in the bareness of this recording, but it does sound like the parts are arranged too widely for the vocalists. Instead of coming off as vulnerable, it draws attention to the effort required to hit the notes, and that probably isn't the effect you were going for. Having heard both versions, I think I appreciate the acoustic one more, even if it doesn't lend itself as easily to exploding schoolyards Keep up the good work, try refining your vocal technique a bit more, and it will payoff in these kinds of recordings.

I think this is a pretty good song. I would've probably liked it a lot more when I was a little younger.
