I see my date offer hasn't been accepted.

Last time I pour my heart out on BandAmp.

very nice
nicely done, i like your voice a lot, it's very THERE and full, if that makes sense.  the ending was very neat too, reminds me of a Shawn McDonald song ("Simply Nothing").

and like BasketCase said, straight from the soul.

Sorry no one got back to you sooner, Adam was helping me move.  I didn't have internet for weeks, sympatico royally boned my account, it was awful.  As for the date request, well it's just too flattering for words.

Thanks to everyone for your great comments!

Very nice! I'm sure you get told this all the time but you have a beautiful voice.

This song reminds me of some of the stuff on Tegan & Sara's first album (which was IMO their best so far). If you've never heard of them... well they're from Calgary, I figured a Canadian might have a chance of having heard them :P

The only teensy picky thing I would say is that you almost lost me in the intro, which seemed a bit too long. I have a ridiculously short attention span though so feel free to completely ignore that comment. It will become abundantly obvious when I post my own stuff here that I have no idea what the heck I'm doing anyhow :P

yes,  very smooth, good sound and nice flavor.  you have great voice.  i think the song stands well as it  is, adding more instruments will change the character...

Wow, love your voice! Only problem I can possibly find is that it might do some good to put a few breaks between singing...I really don't find much to critique on this song. It ranks up there on the list BandAmp goodness.

@Jimuk: Wait, puppy has a girlfriend? You mean he has a life outside BandAmp?!?!! Amazing!

... Professional Grade lyrics and vocals.
I love how the chorus resonates in my head - it's very powerful.
I think the rhythmic and drumming verses works great.
Love the ending effects.
