A well composed tune. Guitars are very good esp. timing and dynamics.

Excellent song

Lurvley!!!
What a bucket full of talent you have Tess

Guitars sound great, nicely played with loads of passion.
Vocals very good, as usual
And the bass (which is obvious - come on Max, open your ears to those low frequencies!!) blends in nicely without being overstated or too punchy.
I'd like to hear this with drums added - I think they're a necessary addition to what's already a great song.

Just beautiful!
I think the "no percussions" thing goes great with this song, but I think a light bongo would mak me pay for this song. Excellent job on the use of the electric guitar btw, thats something I would dare to do. It takes guts, lol.

this is great, you can really write mad songs (and no i didn't just figure that out now!)

As usual you put up a great performance in your recording, i dont think drums would make much of a different, maybe a little bit better but if you don't play drums and don't have a drum kit... its a lot of hassle... and i would DEFINITELY would stay away from those MIDI drums with this song.

As for the mix, great, i like where you placed the electric guitar, vocals are fine where they are but just i would recommend turning down the acoustic guitar a little bit... it's a little bit draining, it effects the song EVER so slightly but since it's such an awesome song i can't really write up much of a critique unless I looked at really really small things because this is just very good!

Well done

"Sounds really good mate, liking the solo, wot inspired the song?"

i was playing high and dry by radiohead and i started playing this riff and it jus sounded so sweet ... so i kept playing it - the words "locked in the cellar " came up when i was improv singing to it and i based the song around that.

this is one of my best songs i think, a guy i work with (on my music) thinks this is my hit song. really proud of that

cheers for comments people.

heartfelt , intense.... really like the 'pring!'  guitar harmonic.... love the last hanging chord everytime....absolutely requires drums ... very good song... balance out the acoustic gat... a higher vocal harmony for the pain maybe.... yeah i am so bold as to suggest

Hey, Tess, long time since I hadn't listened to any of your songs, and must say this was lovely.
I liked it a lot. The acoustic guitars sounds really clean and natural and the electric guitar makes his job pretty well. The voices harmonies are great; your voice is great.
good tune, I liked it a lot.
