Hey!

Nice finally some reggae..always good hehe...

the synth sound is VERY VERY good, very jealous about that!!!

but like always I'm a wanker with music so I also have some comments for you..

Personally I would chose some other drum sounds, some more clear sounds and add some (more) reverb to it (especially the snare (side)). Just try to open up the drums a bit.

I would give the guitar a less "dirty" sound. the effect works well for me.

Try to make the voice stand out a little bit more...often it gets totally blurred with the background...drowning in it..

the mix would be some more interesting when you using some panning with the guitars.....just experiment with some parts panning left or right..for a wider stereo spread...

P.S. The bass guitar could stand out more as well and with a nice bass rythm...bass is so important to reggae.

Really like it!

Got a nice groovy feel, and great vocals.

Needs much stronger bass to fit the genre, the bass line is great, but it sounds hollow, needs to be thicker, and grip you in the chest...

Good job though!

Pro: I'll ditto all the positive stuff said above.  It's a great song really.

Con: the bass line's a bit repetitive if there's no bridge or other sections of the song to add variety.  Also the drums sound midi (or overcompressed).

Suggestions:  this one's impossible to implement but I kept wanting to adjust the tempo up a few tics. Also during the guitar solo you can kick it up a notch by having an engineer pour a torrent of effects on it.  Yeah...run wild.

This song is a primo candidate for 1st class production values. It would be so badass with a gritty sweaty band in a first class studio.

I like the guitar sounds your using, and the way it links in with the vocal line. I will be listening to this song again definately.

Good stuff - great groove, well recorded and played.
I'd only change the sound of the bass a little as, IMO, it needs to be more up front and a little more "punchy".
But I enjoyed listening.
