absolutely awesome rock song, i dont know how you couldn't like this or be unsure of this song! i really love it everything about it is so good. Vocals are beautifully mellow and the band just plays so well. Very very very awesome pink floyd style rock i really dig it!

tnx for comments, compliments, and critics too
i really want to redo some of my parts(especially the solo!), and mix it slightly different
i would like to hear it with another voice once too.., bass maybe too..
then only i start thinkin if it is necessary to shorten the song

hi
I agree, start it at :20, (the drum fill) not sure about the prior stuff. As always, I like the guitar noodles. What did you do for the vox fx? It sounds like the cut the low EQ, cut all the highs, and boost the heck out of the mids. That works. Who's doing vox?

Once again, I'm jonesin' for a real serious kick drum...

The organ/synth sound might come down just a hair. The frequency at just about 4:00 is a bit much for my ears at loud volume. But then I'm bothered by the intro of "echoes" (floyd) for that same reason...

Towards the end (at, "the airy matter...") I couldn't understand what was being sung, and I wanted to know what he was saying. It's not easy when the 2 guitars and vox are at about the same place--notice how you can never hear the keys at most concerts? That's because the bass/guitars are stepping on them...it's the first instrument to get wiped out by other instruments.

Thought I'd stuck in my darkside of the m... cd. . I like it alot. Pink floyd was one of my favorite bands of all time. This song really sets the mood. You guys know what your doing that's for sure. Real tight playing on this song. It might seem a  little long, (compared to todays/radio) but most bands that played this style wrote long songs. Love the progressions the gtr solo's real good (I wondered what happened to david gil)   Like the eq'd vocals. awsome song.

I really like this! I think you did a great job on it!  feel the floyd vibe but imo a cross with Morcheeba too! Right on beat, great feel!

to journeygirl: you're right about the voice, all mids, about the kick too, should be fatter

i'll fix that the day my guitarplaying feels good enough again to do my parts over

the lyrics are on the introduction page, so for you here's the part:

How come the feeling don’t last for long?…
The precious moment turned to stone cold memory…
Oh, daily routine!…could your clouds agree…
…to do the Spacious-Silhouette-Pirouette way up high with me?…
Or would they float, wave goodbye, in an airy matter?…

…Out of the blue the wind whispers to you…
…Shine like a Sun…
…Shine like a Sun…
…Shine like a Sun…

to all: tnx for comments a lot! this will be redone, just need to grow to it

my god it sounds like something strait out of the mind of roger waters. and i mean that in a good way. good organization with lining up the rythm leads and bass, and also really effective vocal crescendo. i like how right befor the last verse, when you think the song is about to slow down again, it gets kicked back into gear for the last verse. there is nothing wrong with this song as it is, you and ur band kick some major ass
