Brazilian Beach Storm
*

This song is not in a battle

"Brazilian Beach Storm" it's a bossa nova I compoused. Recorded the best I could, cocidering the sources I have; a home-mic (those of $3) and my clasical guitar, that really sux... it's getting harded to play on it everytime. so, the sound is really nasty. I can't make the sound don't acoplate (dont know if is that the word) but i tried to make it sound the best with Cool Edit.
Hope u like it, and if u do, post or at least vote... bye

I like it, sounds very nice, very soothing. I could tell, like you said, you were having a hard time playing, but I thought the ability and know how was there, IMO. I really like the percussion. It would be really cool to sit on a beach and have a band play this. Sound quality doesn't sound bad to me, either.

Iszil, it doesn't sound bad to me either. The guitar is a bit boomy, but you did a great job. I hope you will be able to get yrself a better mic soon.
If you still complain about the sound you are getting, why don't you try equalising. Have you tried it on this song? lowering or putting up some tone ranges could do wonders. I really enjoyed yr song.

oh yeah. Very evocative. Love it. You're right about the playing sounding a bit strained at parts, but I think you did quite well. Sounds great.

Cool
CoolEdit is good, I used to record using CoolEdit, a lot of the earlier stuff, this sounds great btw. The sound of the ocean is perfect for this piece. I would have liked to hear a longer version of this but I'll take it as it is- good stuff.

The smallest things
in life are doing the best job. In this case it's the very last guitar tone.
Very relaxing waves but the guitar sounds well but a bit nervous. All in all nicely done. 76.5% from me

Liked the relaxing effect .  Guitar playing sounds a bit tense though.

Very cool..... I love it.... A better guitar would help this alot, because you wouldn't have to struggle so much... but fantastic job....

thanx guys

well, as u said the guitar sounds tense or nervous, but that's all cus of it fucking quality, so i'll try to change it soon (btw, dont have electroacustic one).

bout making a longer version, well, if i see people supports that idea i will make a longer version and will ask the acustic guitar to my cousin, to get a pro sound.

bye, mates!
