what effect do you use on the drums? is there a flanger on it? it makes me think of velvet revolver.

you heard that right, the drum track is mildly flanged. I did that to make it sound less mechanical as this song was part of a special sequence of songs I recorded in a row, using the same drumsounds in every song.

This song predates Velvet Revolver by a year or so, it's not unlikely that their sound was influenced by mine

Heavy man. Vocals hard to understand abit in the distance. Maybe that was your effect idea. That's o.k. Nice guitar playing with the lead. Good steady beat and great bass playing. Sounds like something in a bad guy movie clip. Like Dare devil or Bullseye. Thanks for posting!...jgv
