I was trying to figure out Mason Williams Classical Gas,
and I finally found an acoustic version of it.  But only after I had given up & said "scr&w it".

I'll make up my own tune.

just a quickie recording.....be kind....i'm a newbie....

whoa
It started playing and I was blown away with the speed. Very nice picking and good chord progression. The ending was a tad weak but overall, very good. Great job man. Keep it up.

Wow, Was that one guitar? Great for a quickie, but seemed to lose its pattern in some areas. Nice job though

Classical Gas is a great song and I can see some semblance of it with this song.  I don;t nkow much about the guitar, but that seemed really fast and done relatively precisely.. wicked nice song!

Nice piece of guitar, well performed.
Didn't you speed up the pitch a bit too much?
It sounds a little like a 33 rpm LP played in 45.

I think it might be better if it were slower, maybe you could make a new version.

thanks...
It would be better slower....but I get going along & my fingers just speed up.

& yep....just one guitar, my old washburn (rest her soul).

I've got a Taylor now (sweeeeeeeet) that plays like a friggin' charm.

I do have a few other tunes......slowed down......I thank you all for your comments.  It's great to have objective comments.  (instead of well meaning friends who always tell you it's "very nice".)

a newbie huh? lol... you seem like the type of person who walks into a pool hall and flubs around a bit and says "yeah I'm not very good" and then whoops some ass real fast and wins lots of money.

heheh, good for you, cuz then you win lots of money but you are hardly a newbie - what did you mean by "newbie" anyway? new to recording or new to songwriting or something else? you're certainly not a newbie to playing the guitar - i can tell that much

anyway, man keep it up - if you could show some other facets and were versatile enough i'd pay to see you in concert - just work on your rhythm and timing a little more and get it real tight and then i'd go to your show in a second

by newbie....I mean to this site.....& to recording.
