Hey Bro... |
if it's five watts output, it's not all that crappy bro..
as a recording amp it's perfect!! ya know how
many times I have wished I had something that
is that small due to the areas I have had to set
my stuff up in?? you can even D.I. one of those
if you do it right.. use your d.i. box between the
output wire and the speaker itself.. see, never
think you're lesser than anyone else. you're damn
talented.. but always remember no one is better
then anyone else out there as far as the person
is concerned.. sure your abilities may be a little
better, or of a different quality!! there that even
works.. because no one is better then me... but
I am better then no one!! get it bro?
you are awesome on that guitar.. never forget
that either bro.. and don't let your chops get
rusty as I did for many years.. after my medical
events, I've had to work twice as hard just to
get back to the level I am now!!
Blessings,
Danny - Blue

Izz Played your vid again very impressive .
Years ago on the 1973 Yes Australian tour in Brisbane a mate & self were lucky enough to spend an afternoon with Steve Howe.
We met him in a health food cafe and went back to the hotel ,my mate a legend (In his own mind) of guitarist jammed with him.He showed us some guitars & played some bits from their new album, Tales of Topographic Oceans .
One of the recordings on the Live Yes album was done in Brisbane that night.
It was an encounter which was an inspiration &My mate did go on to develop into the legend he is today , as a session guitarist , producer, owns a major studio and works with top musos.
He reckons that afternoon revealed his path in life.
Am going 2 forward ure vid link 2 him ,he'll love it.
You are gifted izz
Live long and prosper mate.

What a story man!
I don't know what I'd do if I meet Howe... I mean, OMG! I think I'd just cry, and beg him to make a little jam!

Is it tube amp ? Maybe just needs some new tubes, maybe a new caps.. You know Jimmy Page liked to use small amp in the studio. He loved that Supro 169 OT Coronado...Not sure what it is about things with Coronado in the name... but I love my Coronado Strat.. wouldn't trade for it.
6 years, If it's a tube amp.. It's way past time to retube it.. If you do a lot of playing on it. If it's been sitting without being played, have a the caps checked out on it. It'll bring the tone right back into the amp.
I use a 40 watt Hughes & Kettner with the power cut to 20 watts. Works great for small clubs and recording.
