It's a swing and a miss
A frog of a kiss
There's a giant hole in my map

There's a finish line
That I'm always behind
Despite the fact I'm running fast

An illegible list
Of ingredients
That I can't quite collect

I'm a shooting star
To disregard
Whose light-bulb lost its filament

But you threw your coin
Into my wishing well
I Saw a shimmer from across the sea

And as it fell
It floated there inside of me
And that's when I believed

That the cracks in the mirror
Are nothing to fear
And I might feel quite unaligned

But the pieces still reflect
The person known as myself
In the end I'll be fine

interestingly enough the feel of this song reminds me of "the airborne toxic event". have you ever heard any of their stuff? Perhaps it primarly reminds me of that band because they actually have a song called "Wishing Well" as well lololol
