   Thatīs a great new feature for bandAmp, TK. Super idea.   
It may expand our possibilities to present oneīs creativity, ideas in an own forum. It will improve structure and give more clearness to the site.
Do you plan to install an own video-player in the forum, Carsten? Iīd appriciate a "bandamp player" coz Iīm going to do my first dilettantish attempts in making videos, so I donīt have a youtube account and I donīt wanna sign up there (if I donīt must).

YouTube is ok .... might be part of the cloud but you can always sign up in an internet cafe under a weird name if you want !
But you MUST be able to display your video creations on bandamp ULI

Some minutes to think over

- Youtube is an external hoster and has a plugin what we use on here
- We have yet no license for a video player, only the license for our wimpy player. Youtube has it.
- We have not enough disk space to host all the videos which our members would upload to this place. Youtube has it.
- We havent any tool to convert from all the different video formats (AVI,MOV,WMV,MP4 etc.etc.) Youtube does it.
- We havent any protection tool for unwanted content. Youtube has it.
- Youtube users can restrict the access to their material

All in all BandAMP has a benefit by using this Youtube "workaround"
