Question for all of you.
Hey, I was just wondering...
It is about BandAMP.
On every Forum I only see men, no women.
And it is kind of wierd, so if there are any girls, post a reply.
Thanks.

not all of these people are very active.  in fact, the two that are most active are the first two.  other than that, most of these people haven't logged in for a while.  either that, or they have never posted and instead just rate songs.

happy bandamping

TLS - how did you find that list?  did you just trawl through the member profiles making a note of all the female ones?  or is there a better way to do that?

haha, no, there's no better way to do it.  i definitely went through the "Browse" section and then marched my way over to the "album" and looked for anybody that looked female or had a female name.

i stopped when i got to page 14.

oh, i know it.

i sit at work as a tech support go-to guy.  so i sit.

and wait.

and wait.

until something bad happens.

then i fix it.

and then i wait.

rinse and repeat.

it's quite depressing, yet it earns me money, and i get to listen to music, code websites, think up lyrics, and post on bandamp, all at the same time!

haha..

wow, yeah...  way too much free time, depite the activites i listed above

actually i tell a lie ... i work in a guitar shop - its like a kid working in a candy store!

although its not all fun and games.  theres a lot of dusting, hoovering and kissing the asses of old men who are convinced that they can play layla better than eric.  In fact i actually had a customer once ask me if i knew who eric clapton was!

"Of course i do you ****ing moron!  I may be only 19, but i WAS born on this planet!"

sorry, i shall stop ranting now

... oh, and occassionally i have to sell something!

I am SO extremely offended
I know they are few and far in between but when they come along, it's an experience you don't forget. More in our time, or my time Alanis Morrisette. And I mention her because she is not only good, she is pretty. Maybe more folky than rock but she certainly started a revolution turning away from, uh, Mariah Carey.
Unfortunately, my style is more soulful rock, if you could call it that, I don't have an eletric guitar to work with and my voice is less rough.
Ooo, I thought of another one and probably my main idol-Pat Benetar. She was classically trained, vocally, but found it restrictive. SO, she made her voice rough by standing over the Hudson River and yelling for about an hour each day.
SO...there.

Alright CC, so you've done a good job building up our expectations to hear your stuff... so when is that going to happen...?

Well.......Sept is my birthday month, so I'm hoping to get some freetime shortly
And........I'll be posting a song I'm having a hard time with, lyrically and musically
But.........I'm still trying to find a decent mic.
I know someone suggested an od mic to me but I'm just not sure yet.
