I'm playing with another guitarist lately and we are gonna start gigging soon so of course we had to come out with a name!
I thought about "Chalk and Cheese" me being cheese of course as I'm French!
Let me know your thought on that one

I find that very cheesy, but then I've no room to talk with a name like mine...

I agree it's a bit cheesy but might be funny too It might fit the kind of music we're playing
And as "naked barmaids" is already taken! lol

Chalk and Cheese is a nice catchy name.  I was once in a band called Shoob the Boob and the three nipples.  I like yours more.

Yes it has a ring to it, because it's a famous saying, and it's a famous saying because it has a ring to it !!!
As a band name , it's OK......it has a ring to it ! lol
But it's the other levels of it's interpretation, it is used to express opposites and not positively!!!

What about "French and Saunders" ?

Have to confess I do find it 'cheesy', it sounds like a holiday camp comedy duo rather than a band, imo

Comedy duo! Hey that could be worse ...
As I see it in my very rural Suffolk and the local pub circuit I think it's gonna fit
They're very much into the real ale and cheese night around here and I really don't feel like taking ourself too seriously anyway so if we can raise a smile well it's all good
