Up coming shows ? |
Strong of that experience of the weekend I think it would be a great idea to have forum (or just a threat maybe?) for upcoming show of the bandamp members
I'm sure there's lots of touring musicians on the site and what a shame it would be if one was playing near you and you wouldn't know it!

Great idea Vincent....
Since the two performances I did over the weekend at the Eddy Fest, I've been musing over what happens next for me. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the acoustic set with Graham, and so have been looking at putting together 20 or 30 songs to play "unplugged"
So, I've also been looking at a few places local to me that put on acoustic, blues, and folk music.... there are four or five within 10miles. Give me a week or two after I get back from my holiday and I'll be ready for the open-mic at least!!!
My bass player is not quite so confident of his own abilities however, and I still have to talk my brother in law into playing drums for the new 3 piece, so it'll be after Christmas for the shows to start in earnest with the new band - but it'll happen, it'll happen.
Vince... I want to get back up to Sudbury some time to listen (and perhaps play along) with you - when are YOU playing next?!
I know that PX is playing somewhere soon in Holland... I bet that Kings and Wisdom would go if they could, but unless we're told where - then nobody can make it....
The idea of a "Gig Guide" thread is excellent. Good idea Vince, good idea!!!
