Losing slasherx a programmer SERIOUS
HEY

I posted thisin the pit so people will see it

It looks like the site has just lost a programmer........ slaherx

I Quote slasherx

'There is no sarcasm. The fact is that with the way the site is right now, nothing will get done unless there's a major overhaul/rewrite. Not only that, but the fact that there is no one to implement any of your ideas is just more of an indication that nothing will get done. A site is nothing without it's users, look at friendster. They refused to make upgrades and it went to the toilet. I don't see why you take every post as an attack on you, that's the wrong way to approach anything on the internet. This is my last post on this site, good luck folks, don't get your hopes up on changes anytime soon'

It looks to me me like we have lost him?????

I am happy to let the site muddle on as it is such a harmonious community
..............but for the future?????

A Muddy response would be nice...........just so long as he doesnt kill bandamp

could the moderators please reply as to the effect this might have on the site

if any

the fish..........dead serious

Swordy Dunno if you read this or not but PX replied to this on the Ideas and feedback tab...I personally don't know much about anything that has to do with PC but I'm willing to volunteer personal time if someone walks me through what I need to do.!!!!!!Panic is not a solution either guys.

Well I agree with the fishy man about getting a "Muddy" reply, but I also think that Marino (and PX in his post) are quite correct in that there's no point in getting stressed about this.

The site ran for a long time with no dedicated coder, and I'm sure it'll continue in the same way.  OK, it's a little on the temperamental side sometimes - but it's the people that make this on on-line community, and we'll carry on posting and chatting until someone else steps in Slasherx's shoes.

hey...
ld said she would take a look at it all..  but not at
this moment.. for as we speak, a four year old son
of our closest friend's has been taken to vanderbuilt
childrens medical emergency in nashville..  the
child has been to see his doctors numerous times
over the last couple of weeks complaining with head
aches and had not been able to keep more then a few
ounces of sprite in his body three times a day.. anything
else he tried to consume, his body rejected...  today
after yet another visit to his pediatrics office, he was
finally given both an M.R.I. and M.R.A.. they found
him to be bleeding in his brain...  so they rushed him
to Vandy, where they are not able to do anything for
him either right now except observe for another twenty
four hour period..as they run yet more tests and wait
for results to two test that have already been ran this
evening!
Now I think I have all of this correct, as I received it..
This is the little brother of one of our members too b.t.w.
but I will allow that person to reveal themself as they feel
the need..
I do wish at this point to ask, no matter what you believe
in, and whom or what you consider to be any form of higher
power, be it spiritual, religious, or just a negative - positive
pull in the gravity and/or universe... That you will appeal
to your higher power if you so believe that it is capable of
doing any good for this very innocent and small child, who
himself has yet had the time to become very influenced by
anything outside himself... he's only been exposed to so much
in other words and is still a pretty neat and innocent kid..
so if nothing else throw a coin in a wishing well or what ever
for him!!

Blessings,

Danny - Blueyes
