So true so true

Go into the acoustic section of a guitar center though

Some insanely good players drop by there from time to time, to the point where I will stop playing myself in my little isolated soundbox thingy and just listen to them.

Yes, that seems typical of something that happens at a Sam Ash. maybe because the management is too busy doing things like this:

On April 4th and 5th, Steve Bernat, Director of Security, was in the Forest Hills store to
conduct a loss prevention review with General Manager Steve Vousden. When auditing
the petty cash fund Steve Vousden announced that the funds 'would be short'. He
advised that the money was stolen from the fund back in December but he never reported
it. In addition, Steve admitted not following the Company guidelines of conducting
weekly counts of the funds even after he knew money had been stolen. Steve Bernat
asked Steve Vousden if the change fund was also hit and he replied 'yes'. The losses
amount to $401.04 short in petty cash and $518.50 short in the change fund for a total of
$919.541 At the time ofInventory (2/28/2006), Steve submitted counts that he knew
were false in an attempt to make it appear there was no money missing.
Steve Bernat also discovered the change fund box to be unlocked and the office door
unsecured. Apparently a key had broken off in the change fund box and Steve never had
it repaired or replaced and the door/door frame to the office was in need of repair but
Steve never followed up on taking care of this either.
While conducting his audit Steve Bernat also discovered that Sam Ash Music's credit
card and check acceptance procedures were not being followed properly and the Weekly
Store Deposit Log was not in use and completed properly (see Mr. Bernat's Loss
Prevention Checklist dated 4/4/06 for details)
All of the above was reported to Richard Ash, David Ash, Stu Leibowitz and Howie
Mendelson who met to discuss this disturbing chain of events. It was agreed that
although no one believes Steve to have taken the money personally his falsification of the
fund counts and his lack of regard for the security of the funds is totally unacceptable.
Steve was spoken to by David Ash and told that he would retain his position but that his
job was saved by the 'skin of his teeth' and he would be receiving a final write-up.
This-write-Up-Is to serve as final notice to Steve regarding his performance in these areas.
The company expects Steve to always protect it's assets and to make sure his people
properly execute the policies and procedures of the company. Any loss of funds in the
future or disregard for company policies and procedures will be considered grounds for
dismissal.

catalog..
JimK, bro I use to get the sam ash catalog when he was
still printing it off a computer printer and binding it by
hand.. but had not even thought of sam ash till now..
about to read your article and see what's going on.. I
don't doubt any foul play either.. because today all big
businesses are getting greedy and forget the golden rules
about good business and customer relations! you have my
support and I am behind you.. even before I read what you
have to say.. because again, today this world is so I/Me oriented
and not thinking about anyone else other then themselves...

oh hope you don't mind me sticking this in here.. I may have
to go back in the hospitals for a long extended stay.. the specialists
say I may need a series of surgeries to try to jump start the upper
right section of my heart that they believe to already be dead - useless!!
the also say before it is over I may have to have a heart transplant if
it does not get better.. my injection infraction is at 15% - 20%.....  which
is the amount of stress I can take on my heart.. about 60% - 70% less then
your's and any other average person out there.. ok here I will paste a request
below.. and go read your samash bitch... again you got me behind you bro..

Can anyone help me find sound card sets for the Korg M3r??
I already have six complete sets one of which I have two complete
sets.. RSC 01s, RSC 02s, RSC 03s (which I have two sets and will
sell or trade one set cheap for use with m1's and some of the other
newer workstations use these cards too) then I have RSC 07s, RSC 08s,
and RSC 09s..  I have two incomplete sets RSC 04s and RSC 06s. that
I only have the first cards of the sets, missing the second cards for both..
I need those two cards and then I need RSC 05s, RSC 10s, RSC 11s, RSC 12s,
RSC 13s, RSC 14s, RSC 15s, and RSC 16s... this will complete the original
sound card set library...
I also need a working Roland PMA-5 if anyone knows where to get one very
cheap.. I can not afford to try to get one off ebay or similar places! they sell
for way to much considering how old they are now... soon I will be going back
in the hospital as well as the travel time back and forth.. the hospitals frown
very much on me when I try to bring my Big Stage Piano and Home computer.
And they dislike it even more when I bring my guitars!!  I am very familiar with
the PMA-5 and know this would be the solution to this problems, where I could
keep composing...

Thank Everyone for taking the time to review this message and consider my
requests!!!

Blessings All,

Danny

Damn...
I am glad Gruhn's and most nashville stores aren't like that! the ones I frequent all make you ask before you can even try one of their better guitars.. they keep all the good ones behind the counters... what's on the floor are very cheapies to help ward off the stickey fingered menaces!!! wow that was really freakey!!

Blueyes!!
