Well by one day maybe .... but with apologies.

Denis made a Swordy Birthday thread but I could not post to it to start with, and then the next day the whole thread was gone.

It's because of the the moving of bandamp to a new server, all recent threads have been lost, lucky the amp has been quiet otherwise we would have lost a lot more.

Hope your birthday was excellent just the same John.

As you know bandAMP occasionally goes into hibernation - If it would have been more active, one of us would have seen it was your birthday. In actual fact I think mine would have missed if I hadn't mentioned it in a thread a couple of days before, so you are not alone.
Next time we'll put up an announcement on the front page so that everyone will know - just remind us to make sure.

For the benefit of the old bDay thread, I mentioned my secret for eternal youth, something like this:

1. Act like your young
2. Love everything - expect nothing in return.
3. Avoid negative people.
4. Eat and drink what you like in moderation
5. Retire early and go on a long cruise.
6. Never lose your sense of humour - laughter is good for the soul - watch comedies often,
7. Often there is a positive to a negative, pause and think about it
8. List your dreams, then make a plan and go for it
