best rock keyboard player around, one of the best rock groups ever.  Good thing I have all their albums,, he lives on through the great music they wrote and played.  RIP John "Lord" of the keyboards.

Good to see you started this thread.
I've been a follower of Jon Lord and his projects over the years and realized he cancelled some dates last year. He appeared at the beginning of this year and then disappeared again due to illness.
So sad that one of my heroes passed by now. Singin "Smoke On The Water" and play my organ like he did will never be the same now with this great loss in my mind
