Eisley.  I have an affinity for all of their music, but particularly their first cd called Room Noises.  Girl singer.  a bit abstract as far as the lyrics go... dreamy and surreal.  First track on that cd is good:

Memories  (youtube music video.. i don't have any headphones here on campus, so i hope the audio is alright on it.)

I forgot to add this cover of a Nirvana classic. The band looks like a bunch of tools but the music sounds good and the singer is awesome.

I believe that this is more of a studio esque performance... which is why there is only a couple people...

And yes... CHEESE AND RICE!  That about says it all

No linky's D:
But right now, I'm listening to Rose Leaf Rag, by Scott Joplin. I bought a CD of Scott Joplin's Rags for AU$10, which I'm rather pleased with. So there's a whole list of rags I've listened to today.
Also by Scott Joplin:
The Crush Collision March
The Cascades
The Roseud March
Reflection Rag
And there's 16 all up, over an hour of ragtime, makes me happy.

Also listened to today:
Sunburn, by Muse.
Showbiz, by Muse.
Muscle Museum, by Muse.
They're awesome. I also made an AU$10 investment into Muse's Showbiz album.
Me very happy.

AND:
Rite of Spring, by Angels and Airwaves (much less dissonant than that symphonic piece by that guy I forgot, but people hated his music because he was different, in his time).
Heaven, by Angels and Airwaves.
Love Like Rockets, by Angels and Airwaves.
I also bought the Angels and Airwaves album I-Empire, today. That made me so very happy
Wait...

That's better.
That CD cost $30 though... not the bargain that the others were...
But still...
And I SHOULD be listening to Also Sprach Zarathustra, but Richard Strauss, but the CD shop didn't have that. (For those who don't know, it's the opening theme to 2001: A Space Odyssey, and it goes for over 20 minutes, I think...), but I'm still happy.

Started off with Bela Fleck U.F.O. TOFU
Then ,  Best Of Lee Ritenour,
next* is doing to be
one of my Favorite Cd's which is Paul Rogers (Bad Company) singing a ... Tribute to Muddy Waters,  all blues classics with guest guitarist.
Then some SRV and Robin Ford.
next one in the rack is Miles Davis .....Kinda Blue...

I think I'll hit random play and just let the cd player suprise me with which song it will be out of these next* choices.

I've been into the Vista/XP transformation stuff and sussed out quite quickly how to get the Windows Vista Sidebars to work in my XP (I'm not into Vista), one of the gadgets that appeared with the installation was one 'Al's Rock Radio'.......I have this thing on nearly every day. It has the most excellent Rock channels : Virgin Classic Rock , Chronix Radio , Hard Rock Radio , Magarock Hard 128 , 4U Rock N Metal and much more.....and it's not impossible to write your own radio channel links into the code, if you know how!
So what am I listening to ? Whitesnake, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, U2, Bowie, Alice Cooper, The Cure, Scorpions etc etc and it goes on all day
Makes me realise that I am after all an old rocker at hart ! lol

If you have Vista and use the sidebar go look here : http://www.gadgetsforvista.net/Gadgets/Multimedia/Al-s-Rock-Radio.html

If you want the sidebar for your XP .... suss it out, I did!
OK PM me or something if you are interested in the Sidebar installation pack for you XP, it is out there in Torrent / web land but needs understanding,
I do want to make a complete pack and put it out as a torrent, but not now......
