Hey I'm new, just thought I'd drop by and say hello.
My music is all acoustic, mainly just me and a guitar. I try to write aobut love as little as possible as it's too easy to fall into the trap of the cliché. More often than not i fail however.
Not 100% clear on how this competition works, guess i missed the boat this month.

I went to NZ for a month a couple of years back. Love the country, tis' the best in the world. whereabouts you from? you might know someone i met.

don't keep yourself from writing about anything

love is one of the best most universal topics we have in the world
a song about socks just doesn't have quite the same human spirit as a song about love
songs about love don't even need to contain the word "Love"

Also, though there is a Hall of Fame, I don't think this is intended to be as much of a competition as it is a community. Embrace it as such.

The word cliché is cliché.
