Does anyone have any useful tips to lay down beats, can you use the Padkontrol like an Akai MPC?

Have all the gear but no idea at the moment, so any help would be really appreciated as it is all a bit overwhelming at the moment.

Well first of all sit down and have a cup of tea, then use Google its a good tool, you could also pick up the manuals they usually help considerably.

As far as I know there are no active members who use a Korg PadKontrol, unless PX does but he has to become more active before he counts as truly active....anyway..... I'd love a few......I could then emulate my hero Breadyman....but I havent got one or any either.
