Spanish guitar style/ flamingo |
Hey, Im intersted in playing some spanish guitar/ flamingo. And I was wondering if anyone had some experience? Where do I start? I have a classical guitar. Ive been playing for 2 years. So if you have some thing to share, eks: lessons, sclaes, songs, chord progessions, what ever please speak up

A common chord progression
Am, G, F, E
Generally a minor scale, or can alter it slightly. So if you were playing in the key of Am the scale would be
A, ,B, C, D ,E, F, Aflat, A,
Playing rhythm with your fingers takes a lot of practice, I would use a pic first, to get the feel of the rhythm.
Try and download a Spanish rhythm and jam to it, then practice the scales.
That should get you started
Edit** There is also the more traditional scale called The Phrygian Scale , often heard in Arabic, Turkish...etc
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrygian_dominant_scale
Listen to Pulp Fiction (Key E) try to learn it, it's fairly easy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZBfmBvvotE
Infact I've been practicing this one recently, being of Turkish origin, I should play this kind more often.
I'm trying to be creative with it, tried it with Reggae.
