Okay so right here's the pitch:
Right so you've got this 21st century boy (which sort of reminded me of one of Rush's songs) New World Man lol. Anyways, so he's trying to learn to use a phone? Or trying to get through to his long lost relatives but he can't! And its a bit symbolic because they've been dead since the 20th century and he's been awoken by a time traveling ninja from space so he tries to call them but there's still nobody home. scratch that.
Ok so he's traveling throughout the world and learning and exploring new things but the symbolicness of the can't get through on the phone means his whole life is a dead end and he'll never make it through he won't be complete until he can get that one phone call and he'll have lived a 21st century boy...throughout this he tries to figure out what kind of a stereotype constitutes a 21st century boy? lifeless imaginiation with TV and telephones and games doing the thinking for you? hes going through this life trapped with no artistic outlet thus hes stuck and he can't get through on the telephone.
