the only reason i would think it to be fake is the sound quality is pretty good.  for what looks like a webcam video.

but if that is fake, HE'S A DAMN GOOD ACTOR!

AND AWESOME!!!! Being a guitar player myself, although nowhere near as accomplished as this guy, I can tell that is is undoubtedly real. The high notes are in the right place and the video is perfectly in sync with the audio. I truely believe that faking this and having it turn out this good would be much harder to do than playing it for real.
