Play list help
Hey! My band was just offered a gig playing at a town festival in front of our court house. We know a couple good songs that people enjoy, but are looking to expand our play list. I figured you guys would know a few crowd pleaser songs.  So just post the song title and the band so i can listen to them
Thanks

oh cool seet man. some real crowd pleasers are: (depending on who is in the crowd...young people...older people...a mix...)
Dream On by Aerosmith
Beautiful Day by U2 or Vertigo by U2
(by the way are you going for more of a rock theme or blues or what?)
stuff by stevie ray vaughn usually pleases crowds.  blues tends to blend with the audience more than rock during small gigs and such i think.
Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd
Time by Pink Floyd
let me know if you need anymore

p.s. get a video recording of the show!!

okay I will! and thanks. The group of people who decide if we play or not are old people. lol. So we need a good mix.     As for a genre, either blues or rock. That's what we mainly play. We have a 2 hour slot to fill so any songs help.  They elderly people liked it when we play My generation by the who. After our next practice I'll post all the songs we know already. I think we only have 15-20. We recently learned Buddy Holly by Weezer and Helter Skelter by the Beatles. Let me know if you think of any more songs
Thanks
Oh! what Stevie ray song would you recommend
