Almost done but hit a road bump |
OK guys, Im almost done my song about the book Night by Elie Wiesel.
For the ending I have a fading out audio clip that I found online, (its great but I dont want to say what it is cause itll spoil it) but it is 22050hz...all of my other tracks are 44100hz.
Last time (when I uploaded and recorded the song Lord of the Flies) everything recorded in 96000hz, and when i uploaded it there was this huge problem with buzzing and distorting...anyways....
i fixed all my settings in audacity to record in 44100hz as the sample rate and everything, so yeah.
I just want to make sure that this 22050hz audio file wont totally ruin the whole exported mp3...(when i do export it). (im using audacity.)
is there a way to convert the 22050hz to the 44100hz?
thanks

UHM.. I'M NOT SURE
MY SOLUTION WOULD BE SAVE THE FILE... ADD THE CLIP
AND IF IT BUZZES THEN GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CLIP YOU GOT

yeah ok ill try that right now
Have you added the sample to the song yet?
All you have to do is 'convert sample rate' under 'audio processing' in whatever editor your using.
I've been doing lots of converting of different sample rates recently, to make one audio file of different downloaded clips.
It's just a matter of preparing all your samples before you put them in a final compilation.

Yeah i stuck it in the song (in audacity) but I can click the "x" on the track and get rid of it if I need to.
OK, so Im going to open a new audacity file, put the sound sample in there, do the convert sample rate, and then after I convert the sample rate I export as mp3 (or wav) and I put it in the audacity file with the rest of the song...
right?
thanks for your help!!!
