German Solider Shouting/Talking Commands
I'm trying to find ANY sound clips (wav or mp3 file perferably) of a German soldier or someone german (speaking german) that is shouting or talking commands or anything that sound aggressive and holocaust-ish.
I need something like this for a song im doing. (Refer to Night INTRO in Audio Review.)

I havent been able to find ANYTHING! The only thing in german that I have been able to find is the alphabet, numbers, and colors.

Please help! Thanks so much

On DVDs, sometimes you can switch audio channels, as well.  This might allow you to isolate the voices more?  I have no idea, but thought it might prove useful.

Good luck

freesound.org

It's free to register, awesome site, I've used a few samples, make sure you have a good look through, generally you can tell if the sample is good simply by the amount of downloads

That should do it.

hey denis. I so far have used freesound.org for pretty much every single sound you hear in the song so far. All I could find on their website for people speaking in german was A crazy german guy and numbers and letters in german and stuff.

yes try out different movies, also documentary stuff too. some of the newer stuff might be recorded in surround sound, so the voices could be isolated to the front middle channel. (movies with surround sound)

Cool link Minds.....but it's a bit steep...I mean $2.49 for a high quality punch in the face !!! Aw!

Picking up on Minds link, if videos or German over-dub doesn't work you could try vocal samples from Games, whether you have a game with German voices is another matter
wait.....

PING! I just thought ! what about the angry German kid on youTube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBVmfIUR1DA

PERFECT !

The idiot even sings !!!!!

You and your bloody pc privileges !!
Look for 'Angry German Kid' , thats what I did!

As for recording it ...... have you got an audio card with a mixer or a software that lets you choose the source of the sound to record?
I have Wavelab, I've got to set up my 'mixer' to record MP3 and it will directly record anything playing through my speakers .... including bA songs that cant be downloaded !!

But why dont you either go to www.dvdvideosoft.com , they have a free program to download only the audio from a youTube video, or find another program or site that does the same thing, there are many many to choose from.

I used this site to get a software that will download the audio straight from the the video source..Video to mp3 converter....Not sure if it works outside the tube but is worth a try...
