ok so....

im going to load ALL my song files to youtube..

then using

www.listentoyoutube.com

i will export them as .mp3's

wich are supported by the site...

i have no editing processes

and this way everything i have is backed up

and accessable from any computer

that way i dont have to worry about lossing files!!

annoying as it is i guess it'll do.

Ooh.. for some reason that begs for lossy quality.  Youtube reprocesses your video uploads, so that everything is about the same dimensions, video bit rate, audio bit rate, etc, etc.  No matter what your camera records at, Youtube will reduce its quality.

Unless you're really fond of the idea of Youtube backing up your stuff for you, I might suggest some other program...

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp4cam2avi/

or this one: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/AviDemux  . That second one claims it can process mp4 files by default.

This is a thread I put a link in http://forum.bandamp.com/The_Pit/18155.html

The link is to a site with 20 dvd/video/audio tools/programs/converters
You might find the right program your looking for , they have a youTube video grabber and a youTube Audio grabber, there are also very handy and simple converters ; 3gp - mp4 - avi etc
