Pigs on the Wing Tempo
Hey everyone, I just had another question about Pigs on the Wing by Pink Floyd.
I was wondering if anyone knew the tempo number for this song (Part 1 and/or Part 2).

We are working on getting the timing and rythm perfect, but if we had a metronome going it would be a lot easier, and I think it would sound a lot better.

Do any of you know the tempo?
Thanks!!!

Hey it doesn't need to be that accurate, just simply listen to the song and trial and error with any metronone or drum machine at the same time until they play together.

Or just simply do it your own way in your own time.

But if you want the exact timing I'm sure you will find a way.

Look forward to hearing it

Hey thanks Denis!
Yeah I guess it doesn't have be perfectly exact, I just want to recreate something so good that people will be like "woah is that the original?" lol.

Yeah we'll figure something out.
On our first recording draft, we were going WAAAYYY to fast so it was impossible to sing it correctly.

I think "Wish You Were Here" is around the same tempo....

thanks!
it should be up by the end of february or the beginning of march

yeah pink floyd is awesome.

Thanks for commenting flyer.

I'm thinking we'll figure this whole thing out eventually.
I think that Pigs on the Wing (parts 1 and 2) are probably the easiest songs to cover by pink floyd...ever...

Man, just play along the original song for a couple of times. Then you will get used to the timing, so you won't need any metronome.
And, by the way, playing with metronome isn't as easy as everybody thinks; it requires a lot of practice until you don't go "skating" all over the beep.
Anyway, just do it as I tell you: push repeat in your stereo and then play the song with the original in the background for a few times.
Good luck!

Thanks Iszil.
 We'll try that today.

I guess playing with a metronome is harder.

Thanks for the help.
