my annual....
well  its xmas time... time for my annual i want a studio is this studio setup ok post.....
i realize your prolly tired of me asking but im still not sure.....
ok.. so.. last year... instead of getting a studio i bought a new bass rig... pedals.. cab... etc.
but this year i asked for MONEY MONEY MONEY.... and im prolly gonna score around 400 - 500
dollars and my mate can join me with 100 so.. i have a 500 - 600 dollar budget....
 thats alittle more than usual......

I cant do a firewire interface b/c my comp is not suited for that so im going for the usb approach!
my mixer/interface will be the alesis multimix

its about 160 and the reviews are good it also comes with cubase LE wich i here is good for entry level recording (as a back up im might use audacity)

monitors are gonna be m-audio studiophile av2

they are 100 and are powered and connect via USB (i can catch a break with this b-stock ones that are 80)

studio headphones would be the sennhieser HD 202
http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sennheiser-HD-202-Intense-Stereo-Headphones?sku=242412
they are 30 and on the top selling list!!!!

now... i already have 2 mics... they are mxl 990 and the mxl 991 they are decent i think for vocals.. at least they should do... and as a back up for those i have two shure sm58's now they are old and im not even sure they work... if they do should i use them...

and for the instument mic i want to use the sennhieser e609
http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sennheiser-E609-Silver-Dynamic-Guitar-Microphone?sku=276668
it cost $110 and its a bit pricy but the reviews rave on about how great the quality is...

aside from a few cables (i have a mic stand) and patch cords..... thats everything...
and its rounds out to be 400 even plus tax and shipping...
so i have alittle wiggle room ( haha jello commercials)

anyway if someone would be so kind to tell me what they think of this setup i will get it and this well be my last what do you think of this post.....
from now on it will be a  bunch of cubase questions and mixing troubles.....
Sorry, you do not have access to post...
