Well, I just got back home... I went out and looked at a truck...  I need something to haul with, and I can't keep strapping stuff to the top of our Kia...

  So, went and looked at a nice Dodge truck, it's a 96, and has 99,000 miles on it, so it's just getting broke in.. Most of them I have seen have 275,000 on up.. Anyway, Here are some pics...

 


 The guy wanted $2500 for it... But, I offered him $2200 and he accepted.. I go tomorrow with the cash to get the title... The Kelly Blue Book Value on it, is $3700-4000 in this condition...

     Anyway, I am excited... Woo Hoo..

yeah the economy being in a slump makes for some good buys if you have the money.

How much is gas over in the states, in the UK it's £0.95/ltr GBP, although until recently it peaked at around
£1.20/ltr. Almost cheaper to get a chauffer driven exc Taxi.

gas has come down right now, a LOT..   We are now down to 1.54US per GALLON.. that's about .35gbp per litre..  the cost has dropped real fast and hard.. I am now paying $2.00us less than I paid 2 months ago.. how strange is that?  Linda thinks the truck is too big... But she likes it enough to not make a fuss...  SO, I am going tonight to get it... And yeah, it could haul a pretty nice amount of gear...   It has that extended cab, with plenty of leg room and a full bench seat, to haul 3 people... and it would haul 3 comfortably...  the front is a split bench, that can hold 3 as well.. so 6 people could tour in it...

It gets about 22MPG, or 9.35KPL..  Here is a pic of one that has a bit of a lift to it, but it lets you get the idea of the size of the truck

Hey Jim...It looks nice...I guess 99,000 miles inst considered a lot of mileage any longer....When the weather breaks you all can come on back for a visit...I don't live in that same place...I'm across the street from where I was at..... I have a lot more room....so, c'mon....How's Linda doing ?...I usually get a funny email from her from time to time and I haven't seen Linda on the amp.....Have a nice holiday season...

 Well, what ya do is upload them to a hosting site, or add them to your album...  Then you put the url to the picture in between the img tags..

  so if you host them here, when you view the picture in your album, right click it, and choose copy image url, that way you can paste it in between the img tags.. so it will be  [ img]yoururlhere[/img] ]

ok..  here is what it looks like: hit the image button, and it puts those tags on the page, in between them paste the url like this http://www.bandamp.com/user/album/7731/1000000832.jpg  that is a picture in your album..
They have to be uploaded somewhere, you can't pull them off your desktop... hope that helps..
