That certainly does not leave me cold. If she'd go on for just a little bit more, I'd step up through the screen and love her madly

Give me the name of your pub, Jim!
I think it's pretty cool .. nice video photography. she is not bad either.
Yeah...I have been to various street festivals where I've seen hula-hoop dancers. They usually feature fairly bizarre attire,(featuring revealing costumes) and are usually found in areas where there are "hippy" or "artsy" types. They usually just come off as bizarre to me, and thus don't usually do anything for me...however with regards to this little video, I was more taken with the whole picture. As I watched it, I found I became aware of more and more elements that were impressive. Initially, of course, there is the image of a young woman, moving in the sunlight...on a mountain top... her image reflects youth, vitality, a certain "joie de vive" (not to mention a compelling sexuality). You never see her face clearly, so a certain mystery comes in to play (or perhaps she could represent "any" woman). Her use of the hoop demonstrates a certain mastery...and competence...that is also compelling. Then, the music is also somewhat mysterious in quality (I would probably never seek this out for listening independent of this video, but I felt it "fit" quite well). I also liked the repetitive "revolving" themes that were evidenced throughout this video (naturally the the movement of hoop and the woman's body involve constant revolution; however, I also notice that the camera seems to revolve around the dancer. Additionally, the music seems to have a "swirling" quality in it's rhythms). Overall, I found it to be a nice overall exercise as a video. Oh, and I think I love her, too...just thought I would add that in there....
oh...sorry for even MORE words...but I did a little research on this video (just had a little time on my hands...ya know?) The girl is Klara Lova, a hula performer who performs all around the San Francisco area. The band is called "West Indian Girl"...also San Francisco based. They are supposedly steeped in modern psychedelica. Both are apparently a part of the San Francisco hippy scene (that's all right...but now I sorta wish I didn't know all that stuff...I preferred it when it was all just mysterious. I hope I didn't ruin it for anyone else...)
