Let's see... about 10-30 hours per day. Depending on how long the day is.

me.... have the cpu running in the background while doing other stuff... like playing guitar@watching TV at the same time, and the notebook close by in case of inspiration for text... or like right now, having breakfast

mud, there are no words for your infinite coolness -
but apparently all that computer time is beginning to take it's toll
like, there's only 24 hrs in one day, not 30, not 48... unless you're in some time zone where these rules don't apply

maybe Mud refers to a non-solar day...

my brother, who is a crazy awesome programmer once tried working on a 36-hour day... of course, that is just under 5 days in a week... but that means instead of sleeping 8 hours, he slept 12, and instead of being up for 16 hours, he was up 24...

don't think he does that  anymore (intentionally  )

That's incredibly interesting. How long did he do that? Why didn't it work out? I'd think getting 12 hours of sleep and then having more time in the day to get done what needs to get done would be incredibly awesome.

I work on a computer all day, like many Americans that have desk jobs. But like most Americans *lol* we don't work at work, we surf the net and find cool sites like BandAmp. Which is why *Micosis was right* we will fall.
Actually Iszil, you might want to check out "The Thread That Will Never End", of course when you have ample time . We discussed lazy Americans not doing their jobs on that thread.
Sorry, you do not have access to post...
