if anyone out there has an easy way to record skype conversation to a computer (to hard drive) please let me know
one route might be to use fl8 edison.............?????

say an edirol or zoom digital recorder
in the past I used a compact disc recorder and hated it
diddly buttons
so i go to shop and buy something to make life easy
then start recording
its a fun project................
just got to make it easy to do fer me...........

Well, you probably solved the problem, but a REALLY easy way is to use Audacity: set the record input to "wave in" and press the red button 

Can't wait to hear the interviews

hum... strange    I've recorded audio from youtube videos that way, so i thought it may work.  But i guess you can always record the audio from your speakers and then remove some of the noise...  

Swory, your audio software only records your voice and not the other persons ?
Very strange, do you have some kind of mixing software for your audio card ?
I wouldnt expect cubase to record it.
But my WaveLab records any samples from the web, as long as I set my Mixer to record 'Wave/Mp3' , it all comes in on one channel !!
I'll have to try this one out , it's bugging me now, will have to install Skype again !

You could get both sides to record and then mix the two tracks !

i have sorted out the software to record SKYPE
and bought it!!!!!!!!
took three hours to make it work properly !!!!!!!!!!!!
thanx to blue eyes for sitting at the end of the line ...........
listening while i tested the software
and working the recording levels and stuff like that out
