cell phone?
so, im completely broke right now,
but after this summer i plan on getting recording equipment.
but for right now, i really want to put up some music.
just so people can hear what the lyrics sound like sung.
anyways...my question...
would it be possible to record it on my cell phone and then transfer it to the comp?
i had a microphone for my computer that i could have used, but my puppy ate it.
i got another, and she ate that too...
so, for the meantime, is it possible to use a cell?
or is that just completely ludicrous?

Cell Phone
That's funny.  I use my cell phone to record lyrics I think of when I'm driving.  This site isn't about the quality of the recording, it's about creativity and getting feedback from others.  So if the only recording device you have is a cell phone then I say go for it! (and keep your puppy away from the computer)  There's really really good stuff on this site where the recording sounds like crap but the creativity comes through, and that's what matters.

Cheers!

I use a colby mp3 player w/ a mic, and it dosen't sound too bad so I don't think a cell phone would be much diffrent. Go ahead, I'd love too hear some of your music!

Ring Ring!
Yes keep the dog away from the Mic! a good bit of advice, or stop trying to record it! lol
I'd still advise you to go for a 'third time lucky', because once you start you'll want to do that anyway! So do it first before it starts to nag you!!
There are some very creative tracks recorded on what sound like 'My first recorder' toys.
Put it this way; If you don't take the first steps you cant take the next!
I'm another who'd love to hear your creativeness!
Sorry, you do not have access to post...
