CUBASE SX recording midi |
Hi
I currently use cubase sx 2.2.0 and i'm trying to record midi...
well actually i can record the midi fine, and it plays back fine through the cubase dodgy synths (a1, gs wavetable etc.) BUT i want to record the sound of my actual keyboard/drum machine as cubase send the midi signal to it.
I have a lead plugged into my soundcard (soundblaster audigy 4) and keyboard along with the midi so it can pick up the sounds box, but ive changed to a microkorg and ive messed up all the midi settings trying to get that to work so now it won't work with the groove box either...
i read this "still it's a great idea to *always* record midi notes and for playback route them back to the best sound module you have (in this case: keyboard) so you can edit and quantize the midi information and change your actual sound afterwards" in a previous post... but i have no clue how to it!!!!!
please help!
