How to record?
Hi, I have a question: How do you guys record your songs? in a studio? Because I have no studio. The only thing I have is a microphone to a headset...And I don't want to spend alot of money on recording equipment. Is a microphone ok? I havent recorded anything yet. Im only 15 years old and I just want to try to make a song..but?

OK! So you have a PC and an internet connection.
You can either go down the 'free ware' way and download every thing (software) you need for free.
Programs like http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ can record your Audio and you can edit each track/sound as you see fit.
Reading the sites info it seams that Audacity can deal with 'importing of midi files', I still dont know if that meant you can rig up a keyboard to it....I dont think so, so you'll need another program to record midi.......

Just done a quick search for 'midi editor recorder freeware', came across this link , page has loads of good 'music software' links.
http://cleansofts.org/software/music-creation.html
But thats freeware for you ... searching

You can also go down the Torrent way.
Get hold of a good copy of Fruity Loops or Cubase or any other serious piece of software and try it 'really good' before you buy it!
