I think Oldies may well be right - in any case getting a mixer is a good idea for recording any sound to PC! Also - are the batteries fresh in the guitar; as the batteries lose power, the signal is screwed up and can sound sh*t.
What you don't say is how you think the sound is not good; is it the EQ, the volume, or what?

Anytime you are having trouble recording an acoustic electric guitar, just tell the guitar
" I AM YOUR MASTER!! OBEY ME!!!" and that usually works....

The best way I've found to record EAs is to to run the piezo (or whatever other pickup) into a guitar amp and mic it with a dynamic to get some low end. Then I use a second mic (large diaphram condeser or something else suitable) to mic up the accoustic itself (usually around the 12 fret, 6 inches away from the fretboard pointing to the sound hole). I have also had great results (especially with classical guitars) just pointing an SM57 right dead on the sound hole (2-3 inches away).
Hope that helps.

That's what you did with my recordings right? Just if anyone wants an example. We just used one mic on the first EP.

Best way to record EA:in stereo!
Or in this case Iszil:With and piezo,..and mike.
Keep in mind what Enright house is saying about distance between mic and guitar ,...this is very important.Good luck.
