Hope this helps...
I have the latest version of FL (5), and what I would do is change the number of measures (right next to the tempo). Even though this doesn't actually change the number of blocks in each set, it still enables you to play in a different time signature. A problem with this is it doesn't let you go above 16 measures, so playing in 17/8 or 19/8 requires making too different tracks on your playlist which have different numbers of measures, but add up to the number of beats.

Same boat...
Okay I've also asked the same question many many times before. Time signature in FL seems to work backwards / inverted / wackapacka!? compared to how I know time signature. What I do is I start a new FL session, place a tick on the first beat of every bar of the Kick sampler already provided, then I press play in pattern mode. Now I sit and I adjust the tempo as best I could to match my songs time signature. You may also check the actual BEAT - BAR settings of the FL song and set them to however many bars and beats your song has (time signature). If you do that, then just recheck your tempo again. But this should help.

Play around with it for a bit though.

I would like to hear more about this subject, I am using fl studio 6, and am also a user of Orion Platinum, I found away to do odd time signatures in OPLAT, and I will post here later what we figured out.
I would like to do the same here, there doesn't seem to be too much information about this in cyberworld, and I know lot's of musicians are playing in odd times.
Let's all join together and figure this out.
Sorry, you do not have access to post...
