Are there any free file formatting tools out there? Most audio editing programs do it automatically, but I need to convert my .ogg music files to .mp3's so I can upload my new stuff. Does any program like that exist?
I think you could open your .ogg files in Sound Forge and then save them as .mp3. I remember doing it with some drum samples, so it should work. Try it.
if not you can download audacity and do it from there. Somewhere around the site there's a thread about this, as i had this problem, but with converting mp2 to mp3
