I am registered in BandAMP for a few weeks now. A very nice and integer style of programming this website. But by surfing and clicking through the site I thought that it would be good when the starter of a thread can get a message (by email) when someone leaves a new post or comment. Is this possible?

people can check an option to recieve an email when the thread gets a reply?  you said the thread starter could get a reply, but i think it would be more useful if ANYBODY that makes a post could have the option to get email notification.

Yes. I think this would be very useful for everyone who is involved in this thread. So without taking a look every two hours on your thread you can wait for an email notification.
