Is it those stars in the corner, where you move your mouse up to where you thing the song should be rated? Cos' that says "Rate this thread". If so, then i just gave my song 100%...hmm.... Also, i've been doing that for rating other songs. Is this right? I read the FAQ, but got a bit confused.

thats right, the stars are for rating songs. and don't worry about rating your own songs at 100%, everybody's doing that so it all balances out nicely

Another question; How do you find out what rating your song has?

You can see that on your music page, when you're logged in. It says how many votes you have received and what the average rating is.

Really?  That's funny because I've never seen that.  I just see a n/a or "-"

That's not right. The moment you have received a vote it should show your score as an average. Just checked on my own page, it does the same. Bug alert!

In case of an n/a it means... Not available: no votes placed.

It seems to only do it for songs entered into battles, when the battle is finished. Why can't we do it for all songs, and do it during the battle?

I always vote when i listen to a song. It's just nice. And if i have something constructive to say, i say it!

afaik it used to be that way, dono why it has changed into this. ofcourse the numbers shouldn't be made public - only for the songs that ran through a battle, the resulting averages should be made public. All averages, including the averages of songs in battles while the battle still runs, should be visible for the respective member.

No, they are not.  I have voted on every one of my songs, as well as having clearly recieved a bunch of votes for my other songs.  The score is still n/a.

Well?  It's still not fixed.  Can I get some support?

Man, im really starting to feel like this place is falling apart.  I only see a bunch of members around here and all the ones Ive talked to have a complaint about this place lately...  Has the Amp been abandoned?  Is this place being updated anymore?  Half the systems in this joint are busted?  Oh well,  Feel like im talking to myself anyway!  By the way, Why do i have 15 votes on one song and no score?  I dont think this is working the same way some people think.

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works    but I've come to the conclusion recently that the number of 'songs' given next to our avatar is also not updating.
I might be wrong it's just that I noticed that Devo was at 50 songs, then he posted a song and he was still at 50 songs, he might have uploaded more since then , but at the moment he is still at 50 songs.
I cant be 100% sure, it just kinda pushed me this way!

Oh, I thought that one was a common problem since it's everyone's counter I think.  When I hit 7 songs, the counter next to my avatar showed 5.  Now I am on 9 songs, and it shows 7.
