I joined so I can download a friend's album but I am not finding anywhere a link to his name, his album, nor his bio. HELP!

Did you try clicking on the "browse" tab (above)? Then, on the next page, click on "browse" tab on the far left column - then "members" (also far left column) -  then on the next page type in your friend's nickname (if you know it) in the search window at the top left of the page and see what you get.
