This function DOES work properly now.
for those who care:
since last database update from 8.2.x to version 8.3.3 (somewhere in July 2008)
an additonal supply module (tsearch2) has simply been forgotten to re-install.
But the site's code calls functions in this module.
It had to be compiled by gmake in the contrib folder of the new database.
select headline('test') returned an error "unknown function headline()"
So I reinstalled this module...
Enjoy the old function!

hate to explode my hopes and dreams but i just tried it and it still doesnt work... 
did you refresh the site?
I checked Firefox 3.5.7, IE8, Safari 4.0.4
all browsers do it

The input box doesn't contain the word "keywords" any longer.
Type in what you want, i.e. good and the search func returns all posts with "good" in the subject.

I got a new PC and Im at my friends house right now this should work. when i search anything (i searched thekunadiun and better than green and taka's name and a ton of other stuff and it kept returning with the the advanced search thing)
one time when i serached thekunadiun 2 links showed up but that was it

The regular entry was done at 2003-02-19 00:00:05 by Sindre (one of the official mods at that times)
Cause this date comes so short in time we have about ONE year to prepare!

tell me exactly what you are doing there
I've seen that more than one word results nothing.
Fixed that by easily replacing the space character (' ') with a comma (',')
(it's in the nature of the database search function, I am sure we can sort it out better one day)
I tried:
Better than green -> better,than,green
green than -> green,than
ofcourse the function returns all stuff with this combinations
works only on subject and content field. Not on Username

Yes ! I like ! Nice idea
So on the 19th of February each year we .... do something ..... on-line , at home or at a venue.
I'm actually waiting for a German Euro bA get together, I've been to a British one.
But actual gatherings are usually easier to organise for the summer.............or maybe not
I really like the idea of different gatherings and a Video Link in between, could even be followed by people at home.
