Errr I'm suffering from increasingly slow page loads and browser freeze ups upon trying to post... I'm on firefox but I doubt thats the problems. Its been like this since this weekend, not before... Wot 2 do?

Just to second the VERY slow page loading here too. sometimes so slow they dont load at all.
bandAmp can be slow but not as impossibly slow as the past weekend.
Though I dont get the 'server timed out' message, I just get no page, it remains frozen on "transferring data from www.bandamp.com/"
I'm also on FF.

This happens when I'm trying to upload a song and then the upload fails and then I can no longer upload that song... I think this has been my problem, too...

Same problem here....this weekend I've adopted the practice of clicking on a page...getting up walking away....to return in about 20 minutes to find the next page loaded.

by the way...I notice the amp is working much better today. Does anybody know what is happening?

No, it's still slow for me... Couldn't get to a song page earlier, and logging in takes quite some time too...

ALL night last night I waited for ANY bandAmp page to load, I even left a whole window of tabs all 'Loading...' , not one of them opened.
As for 'Varies'..............Variety is the spice of life????

Sunday night , after this thread was started I came back to check the amp about 1:00am and the pages loaded normally like every other page.
The same this morning, it just works fine.

Database , Server, Traffic............. I have these strange words bouncing around my ignorant brain ! I wonder what it all means ?  

I have no idea kings, but it IS worse on peak hours. On my mobile phone (imode) i can visit and navigate the site easy during daytime, but even now I'm getting a error 502 on my phones browser "cannot find server".

This morning (7:00-7:30 AM) site navigation was slow aswell, but not as bad as right now.

Another morning report.
Same thing last night , had tabs 'Loading...' all night, not one opened.
At one point the 'Forums' page loaded , when I clicked a link I got the 'Server is down please try again later :)' message but then when I refreshed that page it all went back to a blank page that wouldent load.

And now this morning it's OK again !!!!

13:37 CET ... all slow ... It's a nightmare !!

About 2 am my time[GMT?], slow as all hell.
Nothing loaded at all.

Hey All:

I've installed some software updates on the server.
It looks like there are some duplicate messages to clean up.

Having spent some more time in the code... it appears to me that all of this slow-down was the result of a few little mistakes in programming the home page.

I receive an e-mail, hourly, when the server is choking. Three days of constant e-mails got me to move.

Hope everything is going well, otherwise, with the community.

I'll be running a few more tests on the server, to try and cut down on any other slowdown-issues.
