CONFESSIONS
I’m not alone
I never have been
I’m always crowded
Always caved in
By these PEOPLE!!
Who don’t care…
I’m always BEING!!
But I’ve never been dared…

I’m not the only one who
Seems to always ignore you
You’re just paranoid and dead
You’re just the VOICE IN MY HEAD!!!!!!

I have a CONFESSION TO MAKE!!
I love AND I HATE!!
This pain YOU PUT ME THROUGH!!
But all I NEED IS YOU!!!!!!!!

Ragged breath and by myself
I killed the messenger
Put a gun to his head
And now he lies in the dirt
I will never forgive myself
And you don’t even care
I feel like I’m surrounded by you
But YOU’RE NOT EVEN THERE!!!!!!

I have a CONFESSION TO MAKE!!
I love AND I HATE!!
This pain YOU PUT ME THROUGH!!
STILL ALL I NEED IS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don’t know me, yet you know all about me
My weakness, my strength, to you I’m easy to defeat

I have a CONFESSION TO MAKE!!
I love AND I HATE!!
This pain YOU PUT ME THROUGH!!
STILL ALL I NEED IS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a CONFESSION TO MAKE!!!
I will NEVER CHANGE!!!
So NOW I’M SAYING GOOD-BYE!!!
[spoken] Go fuck yourself and die.

haha..  i had to post this quickly before I run off to class---

After writing the thing about not liking the swearing in songs so much, I have to say that your last line here is a keeper.

and this is why it's an exception to my rant in your "Helpless" lyric:

1)  It's blunt.  Like, really blunt.  It's  great.
B)  It's spoken, which makes it so much easier to say, rather than sing.  You'd never SING a swearword at someone you were mad at.  But, you sure would SAY it to them if you felt it.  (At the heart of the matter, that's really why swearing is sometimes ineffective in songs, because singing just isn't the medium that we tend to use when cursing somebody It'd be too much like a musical!)
iii)  It's at the very end, which makes it a tense ending, rather than just a chorus that repeats the same expletive over and over again (thus losing its... uh... charm?)

anyway... gotta run.  I'll write on this one later on next week, if i get the chance!

lol. Even if you had told me you hated it, it would still stay. I just love that line myself, and normally I'm not the biggest swearing person (the aftermath of being raised by a mother who hates that I do swear occasionally in my songs.) Every time I read this I always end up cracking up on that line. I'm mean the LMAO type of cracking up. I mean it's perfect. And it was completely a last minute addition. I was just about to post it on DevArt when I added that line in, read it over and thought it perfect...
