Princess Lynny
Princess Lynny

I met Lynny for the first time
Climbing from the moving van
Turned, smiled, caught my eye
I think she knew she made a fan
Just one look, seemed so shy
But with a wink, she turned and ran

I saved Lynny every day after three
She came over with her books
We'd just sit and watch T.V.
Trading glances, trading looks
But, she would cry when she had to leave
Why'd her dad have to be so mean?

Chorus:
We disappear, a world of our own
I'd be a prince, she's my Princess Lynny
So pretty, in her long white gown
Running free, living without worry
On my white horse we gallop around
Care free with my Princess Lynny

Buds are blooming, the seasons change
Every day, as our love grew stronger
It was harder for her to bear her pain
She couldn't hide her bruises any longer
I knew she would not ever be the same
My Princess Lynny, I could not save her

Alone again as three oclock rolls around
She has missed school two weeks straight
I look all over, she just can't be found
I sit under our tree, alone in the shade
At Lynny's house there's no sight no sound
I close my eyes, I just let it fade

Chorus:
We disappear, a world of our own
I'd be a prince, she's my Princess Lynny
So pretty, in her long white gown
Running free, living without worry
On my white horse we gallop around
Care free with my Princess Lynny

Sitting in the park, wasting the day
I open my eyes, vision clears, there I see
That bruised up girl reading, not feet away
Even so many years later, it was clear to me
As she looked up, smiled and winked her eye
Sitting there, book in hand, is my Princess Lynny

Chorus:
We disappear, a world of our own
I am a prince, she's my Princess Linny
So pretty, in her long white gown
Running free, living without worry
On my white horse we gallop around
Care free with my Princess Lynny

We disappear, a world of our own
I am a prince, she's my Princess Linny
She's my Princess
And she's free.

I wrote this song in response to a post by Denstille. A song named Lovely girl. On thinking of some advice for his song, I made this song.

Comments are always appreciated. And as usual, lemme know if anyone is interested in using it.

thx for reading!

I like it.
Seems like it would have a ballad rock feel..

There's a few words that kind of break up the flow, but other than that,I really like it :]

Ok then, time for an edit :O

Princess Lynny

Met Lynny for the first time
Stepped out the moving van
Turned, smiled,
caught my eye
Yeah, she made a fan
Just one look,
not quite so shy
Flashed a wink, turned and ran

I saved Lynny
every day after three
She'd come over
Just just sit watch T.V.
Trade glances, trade looks
But, she would cry
Yeah she'd cry
When she'd leave
Why'd her dad have to be
Have to be so damned mean?

Chorus:
We disappear,
a world our own
I am the prince,
she's my
My Princess Linny
So pretty,
in her long white gown
Running free without worry
On our white horse,
freedom bound
Care free with my Princess Lynny

Buds are blooming,
seasons change
Every day we grew stronger
She'd smile through her pain
But she couldn't hide her bruises
She was never the same
My Princess Lynny,
I could not save her

Alone again
three oclock again
She's missed school
Four days now
Looked all over, can't be found
under our tree,
I gaze from the shade
At Lynny's house not a sound
I close my eyes,
and let it fade

Chorus:
We disappear,
a world our own
I am the prince,
she's my
My Princess Linny
So pretty,
in her long white gown
Running free without worry
On our white horse,
freedom bound
Care free with my Princess Lynny

Sitting in the park,
Under a tree thinking
of fond memories
I open my eyes and see
That bruised up little girl
reading not so far away
The years smoothed her bumps
She smiles and winks that eye
Sitting there
Not so far away
Is my Princess Lynny

Chorus:
We disappear,
a world our own
I am the prince,
she's my
My Princess Linny
So pretty,
in her long white gown
Running free without worry
On our white horse,
freedom bound
Care free with my Princess Lynny

We disappear, a world of our own
I am a prince, she's my Princess Linny
She's my Princess
And she's free.

*Out of time for now, I will go over this again for flow. You are right, I think I force things into a template too much and lose flow cus of it.

Suggestions are cool...what parts really stop you up?

Thanks!
